Earthenware is more porous and less durable than porcelain or semi-porcelain, which makes it more likely to absorb liquids or stains, and in rare cases, it may even allow water to seep through.
For applicable items (Material No. 1), please perform the seasoning process before use.
Seasoning helps reduce the absorption of food oils and stains into the clay, but please note that it does not completely prevent them.
For products with Material Number 9, please season them by cooking rice porridge before use. These items are not compatible with induction cooktops (IH).
Before using earthenware, soak it thoroughly in plenty of clean water each time. This allows the clay to absorb water, making it harder for food moisture to penetrate and helping to reduce mold and stains.When soaking, you may notice spots or marks appearing on the surface. These occur because the clay has absorbed water, but they will disappear once the piece is dried thoroughly.
