    • About Microwave Safe

    A microwave oven heats or cooks food very quickly using short electromagnetic waves, namely, microwaves. In most cases, the microwaves heat the water content of the food. However, in some cases, the microwaves concentrate on the carbonized (burnt) parts of the food, causing the temperature to rise higher than the other parts. For example, the microwaves concentrated on the carbonized (burnt) parts of stir-fried vegetables can create a large temperature difference in /on the tableware item, which may cause breakage. In addition to water content, oil content is also heated. The oil has a higher boiling point than the water, so it heats up at a higher temperature, creating a very large temperature difference between the parts that contain oil and the parts that do not, which can cause breakage.

    ・Never soak hot tableware in water or place it on the cold kitchen counter. Avoid rapidly heating frozen foods or putting [the cold tableware just taken out of the refrigerator] in the microwave. A rapid change in temperature will lead to “crazing” (chaps) or breakage.

    ※The products with gold or silver paintings, or applied with particular glazes are not microwave safe. We put a “Do Not Microwave” sticker on those items, so please confirm it.

So, please take it out of the dishwasher immediately after use, and dry thoroughly in a place where it can be exposed to the outside air.

It is really difficult to make the completed ware exactly same in color by firing and glazing even when the same materials are used. 100 pieces show 100 kinds of expressions, as it were.

    The glaze or slip may look like dripping. There is unevenness of a glaze or slip when they are applied to ware by hand. There also appear glaze drips or slip drips, which are caused by the glaze or slip flows during firing.

For Gray, we use a translucent glaze that beautifully brings out the delicate details of Le bouquet.
The glaze emphasizes the curves, raised petals, and fine decorative details, making the three-dimensional form of the cup even more striking.
The mature, muted gray tone balances the floral design, creating an elegant and sophisticated look without feeling overly sweet or decorative. It is a color that allows you to enjoy the beauty of the form while fitting naturally into an everyday setting.

A Form Inspired by European Antique Tableware
Le bouquet was inspired by European antique tableware.
Every detail has been carefully designed, from the number and shape of the petals to the gentle curves of the cup and the elegant handle.
The decorative and intricate form is created through the skilled work of experienced mold makers.
The original model used to create the plaster mold is carved by hand from a block of plaster, piece by piece. The raised decorative details require particularly careful handwork, resulting in the beautiful and delicate form that defines Le bouquet.

Flowers Bloom When You Pour in Your Tea
Another special feature of Le bouquet appears when you pour tea into the cup.
A flower shape softly emerges on the inside of the cup, creating the impression of a flower blooming on the table.
The color of the tea also changes the way the flower appears, making it especially beautiful with black tea, herbal tea, and other colorful drinks.

「ルブケ」は、ヨーロッパのアンティーク食器からインスピレーションを得てデザインされたシリーズです。花びらの枚数やふくらみ方、カップ全体のフォルム、繊細な曲線を描く取手まで、細部にこだわってつくられています。

装飾的で複雑な形状は、熟練した型職人の手仕事によってかたちづくられています。石膏型のもととなる原型も、職人が石膏の塊を一つひとつ彫り出して制作。立体的な装飾部分まで丁寧に仕上げることで、ルブケならではの美しい表情が生まれています。

 

お茶を注ぐと、花がふんわり浮かび上がる

ルブケのもうひとつの魅力は、お茶を注いだときの表情。
